Jewellers in Adelaide
Simon Alexander Jewellers is an Adelaide jeweller on King William Street, in the city since 2001. We design engagement rings, wedding bands and one-off pieces in our boutique, and every ring is Australian made, made to order for the person who will wear it.
What we make
- Engagement rings. Natural diamonds come with a GIA certificate. Lab-grown diamonds come with an IGI certificate. Most of our designs are made in both, so you can compare the two side by side.
- Wedding bands. Plain and diamond-set, in gold or platinum, sized to your finger, each with a Simon Alexander certificate.
- Custom and remodelled pieces. A ring built around an idea, an unusual stone or a diamond you have inherited. You see the design before anything is made.
- SANFL premiership rings. We have been the official maker of the SANFL premiership rings since 2020.
Choose your exact diamond
On every lab-grown engagement ring you can see today’s five diamonds that meet Simon’s standard for that ring, each one in 360°, with its certificate details and the price of the finished ring. You choose the exact stone before you buy. For natural diamonds, we prepare a shortlist of GIA-certified stones for the ring you like.
Led by a diamantaire
Simon Dimasi is a diamantaire, designer and the author of A Diamond Truth. He leads each piece from the first conversation to the finished ring. Our own jewellers set and hand-finish every piece.
What comes with your ring
- A valuation for insurance.
- The right certificate for your stone: GIA for natural, IGI for lab-grown, our own for wedding bands.
- Your first resize, and a clean and check whenever you visit.
- The first rhodium re-dip for white gold.
- Engraving, and complimentary delivery in Australia or collection from the boutique.
How long it takes
Each ring is made to order and usually takes four to six weeks. For Christmas, order or approve your design by Tuesday 1 December.

Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm. Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm. Closed Sundays and public holidays.

From first idea to finished ring

We talk
Bring an idea, a photo, or nothing at all. We listen, and we'll be honest about what's right for you — no obligation, ever.

We design it
Sketches and 3D renders so you see your ring before anything is made. You approve the design first — nothing is made until you're sure.

You approve, we make it
A 50% deposit confirms your order and begins the making. The balance is settled when your ring is ready — about four to six weeks.
Custom quotes — given in our boutique or online — hold for 14 days. As each bespoke piece is made to order in your chosen gold or platinum, the final price is confirmed when you place your order, and we'll always flag any significant movement in metal prices first. Ready-made pieces are sold at the price shown.
