Simon Alexander began with a simple preference: design things properly, make them in-house, and don’t compromise either one to hit a price.

Simon is a trained gemologist and the designer behind the boutique. He leads every piece from first concept to finished ring — the design, the stone selection and the build all handled here in Adelaide, and genuinely Australian made. The ring is designed and crafted in our Adelaide boutique; only the diamond is sourced from elsewhere — natural or lab-grown, and certified either way. Keeping the work local is the point of the place: it means a ring can be built around an unusual stone, an inherited diamond, or an idea that doesn’t have a setting yet, instead of being forced into one that was never meant for it.

The work leans architectural. Proportion over decoration, line over flourish, restraint treated as a discipline rather than a shortage of ideas. It draws as much from design and art as from traditional jewellery — a sensibility shaped by years working and travelling through Japan, the United States and beyond.
