A diamond chosen to a published standard
Simon’s five are selected from the certified lab-grown diamonds available today: D to G colour, VS2 to VVS1 clarity, excellent cut and polish, no fluorescence, IGI certified. Most can be turned in 360° before you choose.

A 2 carat round brilliant measures about 8.1mm across. Ovals, pears and emerald cuts of the same weight look longer, and can look larger on the hand. Each ring page draws your stone to scale.
Made to order
Designed in our King William Street boutique and Australian made, set and hand-finished by our own jewellers. Most rings take four to six weeks. For Christmas, order or approve your design by Tuesday 1 December.

How big is a 2 carat diamond?
A 2 carat round brilliant measures about 8.1mm across. Ovals, pears and emerald cuts of the same weight look longer, and can look larger on the hand.
Is a lab-grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. It is carbon crystallised in the same structure as a natural diamond, with the same hardness and sparkle. The difference is where it formed. Ours come with an IGI certificate, and every listing says lab-grown.
Natural or lab-grown: what is the price difference?
Most of our designs are made in both, so you can compare the same ring side by side. See today’s natural and lab-grown prices for five designs. Natural diamonds come with a GIA certificate.
Can I see the diamond before I buy?
Online, most of Simon’s five can be turned in 360° with their full grades. In person, book a private viewing at Level 1, 14 King William Street and Simon will take you through the stones.
How long does it take?
Every ring is made to order, and most take four to six weeks.
Can I change the metal, setting or carat?
Yes. Every ring is made to order in 9ct, 14ct or 18ct gold or platinum, and every design is offered at 1.00, 1.50, 2.00 and 3.00 carats. If you would like something changed, tell us at your viewing or when you order.
